As of now there is trouble in Iran with elections, it is strange that US somehow manages to be freindly when hard liners like Benjamin Netayahu get elected, but frowns when Iran elects a hard liner
Coming to the subject, got these valuable pictures of old homes in Iran…

Plight of Indian Students in OZ
First of all, let me tell you that Racism is negligible in Australia compared to other countries. I have been living in Sydney for almost 2 yrs now and havent faced any racism in work-place or anywhere. Having said that I am scared to travel in public transport after 10pm in trains and sensible persons will avaoid travelling late or exercise caution. So my views are that whatever thats happening is mostly oppurtunistic with a little bit of racism. Here is the story…

Good Election site
Came across a good site for Indian Election politics
Liked an artice from that site by R Jagannathan Undemocratic India very much. Cool
finally have some hopes for India..
tainted politicians and Indian Elections
As you know elections are held in India from April to May 2009. On 16 May the election results will be announced.
Some facts:
- Indian election exercise is much bigger than that of US election
- India is second largest democracy in the world
- India spends around 10,000 crores in two months for this exercise which is equivalent to 1 year election exercise of US
- Surprisingly the Indian IPL cricket business is also 10,000 crores
Well Indian election campaign rules are absurd in that you will have to spend less money officially, so black money prevails and widespread.

Plight of Gazans in Palestine
These are the pictures I got from Internet. It is of a dying mother and her son…
Its cruelty at its height. Its cleverly downplayed and shown in a different perspective to western public by western governments and media.
So why does hamas fires rockets… Is it nuts?. What will it do when its people, Gazans are starved, restricted for medical access, occupied and terrorized by Isralei military for years and still look to be peaceful… Actually hamas fires rockets to get attention.. to say the plight of Gazans.
The bottom line is there is elections in Israel and Ehud Olmert fears that Benjamin Netahanyu will win because he is more terror and hardliner than Ehud Olmert.
So its a chance for Ehud Olmert to walk on palestine blood to play local politics…makes sense??. Google it and you will find answers…

Indians back reservation policy
There is a lot of fuss going on regarding reservations of categories in India and demonstrations (mostly by medical college students) in Delhi and other parts of India.
Do you need reservations?. Definitely yes. Already the minorities are totally ignored in India especially muslims and dalits are the least educated comparing to the annual eduction rate of other category of people and jobs are totally scarce in pricate sectors for these minority people. With reservations though it is not fair sometimes is the only choice of many helpless monorities and other down trodden people. It is agreed that it is misused but it cannot be totally scrapped ...
