A man came home from work and found his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard.

The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog. Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing.

In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.

Some very Good and Very bad things ...

Last thursday, Indian Embassy and Indian Council for Cultural Relations ICCR organized a Qawwali Show by Ahmad Warsi called Qawwali Nite at Indian Embassy girls shcool.  I had been there and it was a good time pass though did not enjoyed the full show, but did enjoyed some part of the qawwalis. It was a good experience seeing a real Qawwali in action (the guys around Ahmed Warsi clapping and singing – though in movies the claps used to be more heavy and fast ). I enjoyed one song ‘mijtaba ya mujtaba – unzil aleeina’ and I have captured that as video and posted it here.

Though I dont watch much TV, I have almost made it a habit to watch the monday premiere in MBC2 (they have moved to new site and they are the only quality free premium non-stop english movies channel in gulf ). The problem with monday premiere is that it starts at 11:pm night (KSA time and 10 UAE time) and there by ending at around 1:30 am or so. Needless to say that it obviosuly screws up your next day routines

Lately there are many good and interesting tamil web blogs and some of them are really good. If you like tamil very much then you would like to visit some of the blog sites here

If you are resident of gulf then you will the value of viewing a good Tamil channel for free. Sun TV and K TV is aired but expensive and difficult to get the card. Another paid card is the Deepam.

Okay these days there are new good Tamil channels for free. Raj TV and some other Tamil channels are now free to air. There is also a new channel called Mega channel and as well as kalaignar TV.

Installing drupal normally is a fairly easy task. The installation for 5.x is still much better than 4.x versions; its as easy as setting the database values correctly in the sites/default/settings.php config file and there you go after dropping the drupal on to your webserver drupal installs smoothly.

Drupal supports multisite installation with single code base with options of single database (prefixing the tables) or using multiple tables. Using single installation and single database is the easiest option and by default the settings.php normally go into the sites/default folder.

Okay to support multiple site is sometimes crucial and drupal supports multisite installation on a single code base. Okay there are documentation but that sometimes may look scary for you. Actually installting multisite is easy. Just follow the steps I outline here. But before that some of the benefits for multiple site installation.
