Jarir Annual Picnic Updates

Jarir Annual Picnic and Al Marsa Resort November 2005

Thanks to Jarir for the Al Marsa Jarir Annual Picnic, this time it was much much better organized and more enjoyable .Well the curiosity was little bit missing because it was the same veneue and we know the places exactly and the resort was well known to us but that did not stop the enthusiasm and the exitement was abuzz when Tony,Rizwan of purchasing were inviting the families on
thursday from 3 P.M.

As usual we went into the cubicles and settled ourselves had Tea, and sandwhiches and then spent some time in the water pond and it was already 5 Pm and the Adil was ready to organize the fun games for kids and everybody started to assemble there and it was fuuny times for the kids as well as for thier parents and Adil was doing a great job with Arab speaking kids and and parents and for non-Arab speaking guys the events were held seperate.I found some time in between and I congratulated him and he said that he wished to perform in English as well but that  language was a hinderance for him. 

It was around 7.30 evening and we were asked to have dinner and this time the dinner menu was bit non-arab friendly too, yes there were vegetable starters and barbaques along with the famous arabic food of rice and lamb meat.Sreekesh was in our cubicle along with my family and jafer ali's family.

After dinner the families were allowed to enter Star City and at al Marsa the guys from showrooms and ware houses started arriving and side by side the events for bachelors were on the way with basket ball throwing, foot ball kicks and so on and Mr.Abdullah Al Mishari HR President arrived and was managing the event and Mr.Akram Al Agil the CEO of Jarir Bookstore arrived and was felicitated and then it was prizes time and the raffles was going on and I got my ticket and they called my name but I didnt hear and didnt go there so I missed a raffles prize  but my collegue Jafer Ali also got the rafles and the first and second prizes and consolation prizes were given and after that Ron was gently pleading the family members to part and we left to Star City to receive our families at around 11 to 12 and they came happy outside excited saying that there were lots of games, roller coasters and many more inside the star city and had enough fun and enjoyment there.

So finally left around at mid night and by that time the bachelors were having thier fun inside the resort and thanks a lot for Jarir for this picnic for making us and our families happy.
