Happy Ramadan Wishes and Ramadan Kareem !!!

Ramadan is a holy month for Muslims all over the world, during this month they fast, shun any kind of bad habits, pray, give alms, charity to other poor people, and many more.
Scientifally fasting from dusk till dawn approximately around 12 hrs without eating or drinking anything, actually helps the digestive system to cleanse (atleast once in a year )

When I was in india I heard about the worldspace receiver mostly because of A.R Rehman ads for the worldspace, seems he is the brand ambassador for it and so thought to buy one receiver and use it in Riyadh. It was very cheap indeed , with only BPL type receivers available and so got a 6 months subscription, tested in India and it was working great.

It is having 40 channels totol with 1 tamil channel, 1 hindi and 1 old hindi songs, and bangla, malayalam, telugu and international channels , 1 hiphop, 1 country, 1 jazz and so on.. it is also having BBC, NDTV news channels and so I tried here in Riyadh with much excitement when I returned back from vacation 1 week before. In my place in India the signal reception was very good but here I had to place the antenna at the top of the building in open space and the signal reception is not excellent till now. May be I have to fine tune a bit but as for now I am receving the signal and the am listening to non-stop songs especially the hindi one (jhanjaar beats). The best thing about this worldspace is nonstop music with no ads.

Unfortunately you will not find the receiver in Riyadh here, may be you can shop online or get one from India when coming back. It is cheap and worth the money...

So for the past two days travelling sri lanka and stayed in amaya lake in Sigiriya , stayed there for 2 days, it was a pleasent experience, very great experience, travelling thru Richard Travels and tours, and now blogging from an internet center from Dambulla Rcok temple. The whole tour is going great, so far so good, we got a wonderful guide named Rafi and our next hop is kandy..

So now i think we can get some sleep after this football mania. Finally the day came to decide the champions and I was expecting a tough match between Italians known for thier ultra defending techniques and France for thier techniques and quality players like Zidane and his team.

The match started suprisingly with France scoring early in the 7th minute by a PK. The PK was unnecessory there but it was given and Zidane luckily put that goal. Then I was expecting France to be defensive to win the match with that goal. But Italians were attacking and soon materrizi got his head into the goal. It was always the brilliant shots of Pirlo which was creating oopurtunities. Its Equilizer. Then both teams with France dominating more were looking for the goals and it went to extra time with 1-1. In the second extra time Zidane had an excellent oppurtunity to head the goak but the famous Italian goalie was unbeleiveable in stopping that goal. Zidane who usually is the general in the field now has no answers at all for the Italian defenders and its goal keeper. Mind you Italy has never conceded a goal till this final.

All time favourites , Brazil are out against France in semi-finals, thier careless game has cost them heavily, they need to wait another 4 years

Zidane was the hero, his team is disciplined at defending and intrusive in attacking and I always thought that France is a real possibilty though they had a shaky start.

I always liked the old team of Viera, ribery and zidane, especially zidanes magic in free kicks, he gently plays with the foot ball, he creates magic. He is no nonsense player, not at all aggressive like other players who tend to muscle up.
